Must-Haves:

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with both frontend and backend WordPress development.
  • Git experience.
  • Deep knowledge of PHP.
  • HTML, CSS, and JS.

Good to have:

  • Experience with React and Next.js.
  • Familiarity with Typescript and Webpack.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD and AWS tools (EC2, Lambdas, DynamoDB, etc).

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project managers and team leads to fully understand the requirements, ask questions and offer technical solutions.
  • Be responsible for your code, in terms of speed, security, scalability, and company standards.
  • Learn from and accept managers’ feedback for improvement of processes, code, standards, and responsibilities.
  • Suggest and offer improvements to the current systems and raise relevant concerns(Yes, we do listen).

Languages:

  • English.
  • Knowledge of Russian /Hebrew is a plus.

Working hours:

  • Time Zone: GMT+0 to GMT+3.
  • Working Hours: 08:00 - 17:00 or 09:00 - 18:00, inclusive of a 1-hour lunch break.

Do I need to be proficient in both frontend and backend to join?

Not necessarily! While a full-stack background is a bonus, our team is diverse. Upon joining, you'll naturally gravitate towards your strengths, be it frontend, backend, or full-stack.

I feel I might be a great fit but am unsure about my technical skills. Should I still apply?

  • Proficiency in defect reporting tools like JIRA, ClickUp, etc.
  • Experience with cross-browser and device testing.

Pluses:

  • Knowledge of version control for test documentation, preferably Git.
  • Familiarity with SQL for basic database validation.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project managers and team leads to fully understand the requirements, ask questions and ensure that every aspect undergoes proper testing.
  • Take responsibility for the quality of what's delivered, making sure any issues found are clearly documented and can be easily recreated, with a focus on thorough testing.
  • Suggest improvements to the current testing methodologies, tools, and processes, highlighting potential risks and inefficiencies (Your voice is valuable to us).
  • Participate actively in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings, bringing a QA perspective to the team's discussions and planning.
  • Ensure that all tests are executed in a timely manner, keeping up with the pace of development and release cycles.
